Strategic Finance Partner – Strategic Finance (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a new Strategic Finance Partner to join our team as maternity cover, for an initial period of 12 months.

 

Your new role

 

As our Strategic Finance Partner you will be driving various projects, deliver insightful analyses to our leadership teams, and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and other functions.

 

In this role, you can expect to:

 

  • Participate in strategic projects and deliverables (e.g., strategic long-term plan, capital allocation initiatives, business development projects, and other).
  • Strengthen our analytical tools and models to enable efficient analyses and scenario modelling.
  • Drive various analyses and generate actionable insights by understanding and assessing our business performance and plans.
  • Develop presentations for senior management and Executive Leadership Team.

As our Strategic Finance Partner you will be part of the Strategic Finance team. We are a team of 5 colleagues with diverse and international experience, and we are part of broader Group Finance department.

 

As a team, Strategic Finance is responsible for spearheading strategic projects with stakeholders in Finance and across Lundbeck. We engage with the business to enable effective capital allocation, deliver insights and facilitate strategic as well as tactical business decisions. This role provides a great opportunity to advance your finance skillset and learn about various business functions of a global pharmaceutical company.

 

The position is based in our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

What you bring to the team

 

We imagine that you have couple of years of experience from a similar role in finance or management consulting. You have a strong analytical skillset, experience in financial analysis, and are comfortable with creating presentations and communicating with senior stakeholders. As a person, you are a collaborator who enjoys solving problems, can handle multiple tasks in parallel, and is not afraid of fast-paced and dynamic environment.

 

We imagine that you have:

 

  • A MSc Degree in Finance, Business, or other relevant academic degree.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
  • Not afraid to navigate and handle ambiguous situations.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
