Student Assistant, Data and Analytics Department within Global IT

 

We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant to join our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team. This role is ideal for a student currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field. You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools.

 

Your new role

 

  • Manage our community of data and BI practitioners and maintain an overview of our collaborations and data products.
  • Author educational materials, documentation, templates, and presentations for users and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training and learning modules across our BI platforms.
  • Updating our governance set-up and adjustment of policies.

 

Your future team

 

You will join our new Data and Analytics department in Global IT, which currently consists of approximately 25 data, software, BI, and AI engineers. We are on a mission to provide innovative solutions to the whole of Lundbeck, focusing on unlocking the value of our data and creating data-driven insights. We build many data models on our Snowflake-based data platform using dbt and collaborate closely with our colleagues in the Data platform team. You can leave your mark by creating a culture of trust, curiosity, adaptability, and accountability.

 

The position is based in Valby, Copenhagen.

 

What you bring to the team

 

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics).
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Qlik Cloud, Power BI) is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is beneficial.
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work 20 hours per week.
  • Expected graduation date within 2 years.
  • Fluent in English.
