Student Assistant, People Communications

Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience with internal communications in a global organization? Join our People, Culture & Sustainability (PC&S) team as a Student Assistant and support the People Communications & Change Management team in creating, coordinating, and maintaining communication materials and activities across the PC&S area. In this role, you will contribute to internal communication initiatives, help manage content on internal platforms, and support events and campaigns that engage employees across the organization. The role requires a structured and proactive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and curiosity about how communication supports organizational engagement and strategic priorities.

Your new role

  • Content management: Maintain and update content on internal platforms (e.g., intranet or SharePoint) and support the management of communication channels such as email distribution lists and Teams channels.
  • Content creation: Create simple visuals, presentations, and communication materials to effectively convey messages in line with our brand guidelines.
  • Coordination and translations: Support coordination of communication activities, assist with translations and localization of materials, and help monitor the People Communications mailbox and distribute requests and feedback to the relevant colleagues.
  • Event support: Assist in preparing internal events, webinars, trainings etc.
  • Analytics and insights: Help track engagement metrics and summarize communication feedback.
  • Shared responsibility: As a student assistant, you will work alongside other student assistants in PC&S and take part in everyday practical tasks that help keep our team running smoothly.

Your future team

You’ll be based at our headquarters in Copenhagen and join a team of 11 dedicated colleagues as part of the ODCM Centre of Excellence. We are organized into three teams: Organizational Development, People Communication & Change Management, and Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E).

Our culture is collaborative, ambitious and dynamic - we support each other and value both high professionalism and a positive work environment where people can contribute, learn and thrive.

What you bring to the team

  • You are currently enrolled in a relevant study program for a bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in the final year of a bachelor’s or beginning a master’s degree).
  • You are structured and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and can communicate clearly and concisely.
  • You have a creative mindset and an interest in exploring new ways of communicating, including formats, visuals, and channels.
  • You have an interest in internal communication, HR, and how communication supports organizational engagement.
  • You are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working with different stakeholders – both internally and externally.
  • You are comfortable working with digital tools such as Microsoft 365 (e.g., PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and Canva.

We expect an average of 20 hours per week. Additional hours may occur during busy periods, and we are flexible during exam periods and semester breaks.
