Student Assistant, Procurement Center of Excellence – Corporate Procurement

Your new role
We are looking for a new student assistant with a strong business mindset, a proactive personality and a strong interest in procurement, who will be exposed to activities and own projects across the procurement realm. Furthermore, you will work closely with our management team as well as our specialist around the world, gaining exposure to all layers of our organization.
Your main responsibilities (shared or divided between the two student assistants) are:
- Managing internal communication across our global Procurement community.
- Facilitating line of business communication (e.g., dashboards, compliance reporting).
- Supporting Category Management activities. E.g., data analysis, market research, RFx development, negotiations, contracting and/or documentation handling.
- Contract management support.
- Supporting our sustainability program. Performance monitoring, facilitating continuous improvement initiatives, and project support.
- Compliance management (SOP management and training).
- Process deployment (training and hyper-care as we launch initiatives across the business).
- Office support and other ad hoc tasks (e.g., purchase of office supplies, arranging social events and activities, managing yearly wheel activities).
Your future team
You will be 1 of 2 student assistants working out of our headquarter in Valby. Working hours will be flexible and adaptable to your study. We offer an average 10–15-hour work week with the possibility of increasing working hours during vacation periods.
The position is based in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
Our preferred candidates have the following personal and professional qualifications:
- Min 2nd year Bachelor or early Masters.
- Strong communication skills and an interest in the procurement discipline.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Natural negotiator with a flair for identifying win-win outcomes.
- Interest in project management and a team player.
- Experience with working in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Flexible, open minded, and inclusive.
