Student Assistant, Software License Management

 

Are you curious about how global software agreements are managed in an international organisation? Do you enjoy working with data, contracts and stakeholder collaboration? Join us as a Student Assistant and gain hands-on experience within Software License Management at Lundbeck.

 

Your new role

 

Through this role, you will gain insight into how global software agreements are managed while supporting the management of a portfolio of software agreements. Over time, you will gradually take ownership of selected agreements, including contributing to the review of software agreement terms with support from an experienced License Manager.

 

You will maintain software entitlements in our Software Asset Management platform, analyse license and usage data to support compliance and optimisation, support compliance, optimisation and cost management activities, including creating purchase orders and service entry sheets, and gain an understanding of our end-to-end Software Asset Management processes.

 

You will support cost management activities, including creating purchase orders and service entry sheets.

 

Working closely with colleagues across Enterprise Digital Enablement, Procurement, Finance and external vendors, you will gain hands-on experience with Software Asset Management, software licensing, IT governance and vendor management while learning from experienced specialists who are passionate about sharing their knowledge. Your work will help ensure that Lundbeck manages its software investments efficiently, compliantly and cost-effectively.

Software License Management is part of Enterprise Operations & Infrastructure within Enterprise Digital Enablement.

Having successfully implemented Global License Management, we are now focused on embedding the capability across the organisation, strengthening governance, improving processes and continuously optimising our tooling.

The position is based in Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

What you bring to the team

 

  • You are curious and eager to learn about Software Asset Management and cost management.
  • You have an analytical mindset and enjoy working with data, cost analysis and structured problem-solving.
  • You have experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks and have a structured approach with a strong attention to detail.
  • You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree programme.
  • You are flexible, service-minded and enjoy working collaboratively in a positive team environment.
