Student Assistant - Commercial Digital Transformation & Portfolio Support

Are you curious about how business strategy, digital technologies and AI come together to drive transformation? Would you like to gain hands-on experience working at the intersection of business and IT in a global pharmaceutical company? Then you could be our next Student Assistant in Commercial Digital Enablement at Lundbeck.

Your new role

As our Student Assistant, you will join our Commercial Business Partnering & Value team, where we connect business priorities with digital opportunities to support Lundbeck's commercial transformation. Working closely with our Senior Digital Business Partner and Head of Commercial Digital Enablement, you will help create structure, transparency and insights across our portfolio of digital initiatives, while engaging with commercial stakeholders across the business and colleagues from different digital and IT functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Portfolio overview: Help maintain an overview of our commercial digital initiatives, including priorities, progress and key dependencies.
  • Value & cost tracking: Support tracking and reporting of business value, investments, costs and risks across our digital portfolio.
  • Resource & portfolio coordination: Help create transparency on resource needs, maintain portfolio information and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
  • Governance & management support: Contribute to presentations, analyses and decision-making materials for CDE leadership and digital governance forums, including insights on value, costs, timelines and resources.
  • Data quality & continuous improvement: Maintain trackers and decision logs, ensure information is accurate and up to date, and help improve our templates, dashboards and ways of working.
  • Business partnering & project support: Support our business partnering activities and, as you develop in the role, contribute to digital transformation projects in collaboration with commercial stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in areas such as business partnering, digital transformation, portfolio management and stakeholder engagement. As you grow into the role, you will gradually take on more responsibility and have the opportunity to contribute directly to projects that support Lundbeck's commercial business.

We believe in learning by doing, and we will support you in developing your skills and exploring your interests along the way.

Your future team

You will join Commercial Digital Enablement (CDE), part of Enterprise Digital Enablement (EDE) at Lundbeck. Our team acts as a bridge between Lundbeck's commercial business and IT, helping translate business needs into digital solutions that create measurable value.

We work closely with commercial stakeholders across global functions and markets, to support initiatives spanning digital platforms, data, AI and customer engagement.

You will be part of our Business Partnering & Value team, working closely with our Senior Digital Business Partner and Head of Commercial Digital Enablement. You will also collaborate with experienced colleagues across digital strategy, architecture and delivery.

We offer a supportive learning environment where you are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and take initiative. You will gain exposure to different aspects of digital transformation and have the opportunity to shape your role as your skills and interests develop.

The position is based in Copenhagen (Valby), Denmark.

What you bring to the team

We are looking for a motivated and curious student who combines strong analytical and organisational skills with a genuine interest in business and digital transformation. You enjoy taking initiative, working with others and learning new things, and you are eager to apply and further develop your skills in a professional environment.

We imagine that you:

  • Are enrolled in a relevant university programme, such as business administration, economics, digital business, IT or a related field.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to structure information and communicate insights clearly.
  • Are proactive, structured and detail-oriented, with a sense of ownership and responsibility for your tasks.
  • Have good communication skills in English and enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders.

Experience with PowerPoint and Excel is an advantage, but not a requirement. More importantly, you are comfortable working with information, have an interest in developing your technical and business skills, and are motivated to learn.

We value both the skills you bring and your potential to grow. With the right mindset, curiosity and willingness to take on new challenges, you will have plenty of opportunities to develop and make an impact.
