Student Assistant - Data Activation (Enterprise Data, Enterprise Digital Enablement)

Want hands-on experience with modern data tools while helping a global organization become truly data-driven?

At Lundbeck, we are on a clear journey to becoming a bionic company, where data, AI, and digital capabilities are embedded in how we make decisions, move faster, and create value.

We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Data Activation team within Enterprise Digital Enablement at Lundbeck.

This is a role where you will be actively involved from day one. You will work directly with real data, real stakeholders, and real use cases, helping turn data into something the business actually uses.

Your new role

You will be part of a team focused on making data usable, accessible, and meaningful across the organization.

Your work will include:

  • Supporting and helping run our internal community of data and BI practitioners, while creating visibility across initiatives, use cases, and data products.
  • Contributing to the development of data and analytics solutions using tools like Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, dbt, and Snowflake.
  • Helping make data governance practical, relevant, and easy to work with.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to support adoption of data and BI solutions.
  • Making data easier to understand and use through structure, communication, and hands-on support.

You will be working in the space between data engineering, BI, and business adoption, where data becomes valuable and actionable.

Your future team

You will become part of Enterprise Data within Enterprise Digital Enablement, a department that brings together Data Engineering, BI, and Data & BI adoption capabilities. The team plays a key role in enabling data to create value across Lundbeck.

You will join the Data Activation team in Enterprise Digital Enablement and work closely with colleagues across Enterprise Data and report to the Head of Data Activation.

Enterprise Data builds the foundation through data platforms, models, and products. Our role is to activate that foundation by ensuring it is adopted and used across the business.

We work with a modern data stack, including Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric, and collaborate closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

The environment is informal, collaborative, and supportive, with a strong focus on learning, growth, and making an impact.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

  • You are studying a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, BI, Statistics, or similar).
  • You have basic skills in SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • You are curious about how data is used in a business context, not just how it is built.
  • You are structured, proactive, and take ownership of your work.
  • You are comfortable communicating with different types of stakeholders.
  • Experience with Power BI or Snowflake is a plus—but not required.
  • You can work ~20 hours/week and have 2–3 years remaining in your studies.
  • You are fluent in English.

Our promise to you
