Student Assistant – FP&A and Commercial Finance

Your new role

 

As a student assistant you will support variety of tasks and projects within the team. You will get a great opportunity to learn about finance processes and projects in a global pharmaceutical company, all while collaborating with the team and stakeholders across Group Finance department.

 

Examples of the tasks you can expect include:

 

  • Create and optimize Excel models, financial reports and dashboards
  • Support key processes such as reporting, budget and long-term plan, with data gathering, validation, analysis and creating presentations
  • Drive ad-hoc analyses, where you will utilize our systems, analyze data and develop insights
  • Support projects in our Finance Strategy, where you will assist project managers with analysis or preparations for various meetings and workshops
  • Conduct desk research, for example on market data and benchmarks

 

We expect you to work 10-20 hours per week. We understand your commitments to your studies, and you will be able to coordinate your working hours with flexibility around your schedule and exams.

 

The position is based in our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

Your future team

 

FP&A and Commercial Finance team is a part of Lundbeck’s Group Finance department. As a team, we are considered trusted business partners to our Executive Leadership team and Commercial organization. We engage with the business to enable effective capital allocation, deliver insights and facilitate strategic as well as tactical business decisions.

 

You will also join 3 other student assistants in Group Finance, giving you an opportunity to network, collaborate and learn from peers in a similar role. We also have a broader community of student assistants at Lundbeck, providing additional opportunities for social gatherings and networking.

 

What you bring to the team

 

We imagine that you have following skills and qualifications:

 

  • You are a university student in the field of Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science or similar relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills with interest in financial analysis and working with data
  • Not afraid to take on variety of tasks and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken)
