Description

Are you passionate about pharmacovigilance? Are you motivated by making a difference for Patient Safety? Would you like to contribute to the maintenance of a compliant pharmacovigilance system? If yes, you may be just the person we are looking for.

As a function within Research & Development, Global Patient Safety (GPS) is responsible for the safety data management, surveillance and benefit-risk assessment of all Lundbeck’s pharmaceutical products, including pipeline and established products. We consist of more than 100 dedicated colleagues who strive to successfully deliver comprehensive safety knowledge working together in a dynamic, diverse global team across Denmark, Singapore and the US.

The GPS Business Support department is a team of 9 specialised pharmacovigilance professionals responsible for PV agreements (Safety Data Exchange Agreements) with business partners and affiliates. The department also provides support to Lundbeck’s Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV), local PV units in affiliates and service providers and is responsible for Lundbeck’s PV quality management system and training, compliance monitoring and coordination of audits/inspections. Our daily work demands cross-organisational collaboration within GPS, across the R&D organisation as well as close collaboration with worldwide affiliates, business partners and regulatory authorities.

Your job and key responsibilities

You will be supporting us with various administrative tasks essential for the maintenance of a compliant PV system, with particular focus on PV agreements with business partners and affiliates. You will be working closely with our worldwide network of business partners and affiliates. Under the supervision of colleagues working with PVA’s, your tasks will include support to the following activities:

  • Contract drafting
  • Maintenance and further development of electronic archive and oversight listings
  • Maintenance and further development of our Partner Database.
  • Check and documentation of various listings of safety report exchange with business partners (reconciliation).
  • Various administrative tasks incl. scanning, physical archiving etc.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as deemed required.

We expect you to be able to work 10-15 hours per week.

Your daily work will require close collaboration with colleagues from across GPS Business Support and the rest of GPS. You will also collaborate with stakeholders from other parts of the R&D organization, affiliates, business partners and service providers.

You will work in an international environment, where all communication is in English. The job requires diligence and attention to details while at the same time ability to find pragmatic solutions and multitasking, often requiring you to proactively reach out to colleagues.

We offer

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the further development of Patient Safety in Lundbeck, and we offer an interesting job in an ever more demanding area of the pharmaceutical industry in a global environment, with attractive and flexible working conditions.
