Student assistant – Pharmaceutical Development
Are you a student of pharmaceutical sciences, life science student or similar and have an interest in gaining work experience in an international pharmaceutical company?
We are looking for a student assistant to join our Pharmaceutical Development Department (PDL). We are responsible for the formulation development and supports clinical manufacture, for all small molecule, pharmaceutical products within Lundbeck’s pipeline. PDL consists of 14 dedicated colleagues who strive to successfully deliver the drug product formulations for our next pipeline and commercial drug product.
Your job
As a student assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks in the department, ranging from ordering goods to simple laboratory tasks. We expect you to be available to work an average 10-15 hours per week, primarily during regular working hours at Lundbeck’s HQ in Valby. We can offer you attractive employment conditions with flexible working hours, that can be planned around school and exams. Your daily work will include close collaboration with colleagues from the department and other student assistants in the area.
Typical tasks could be:
- Ordering goods
- Archiving
- Database updates
- Supporting contract work
- Travel booking
- Health and Safety related assignments
- Laboratory support (restocking, labelling, etc.)
- Housekeeping, Watering plants etc.
Qualifications
Our preferred candidate has the following profile:
- Systematic, structured and detail oriented
- Has desire to work with- and follow systems
- Has some knowledge in using Microsoft programs
- Is flexible, responsible and can work independently
- Is a team player with good communication skills
- Has some knowledge of pharmaceutical/scientific terminology
- Is fluent in Danish and English (written and oral)
- At the start of Pharmacy or other life sciences studies (1st or 2nd year)
