Supply Chain Student Assistant – Partner Markets
Are you an ambitious student eager to gain hands-on experience in supply chain within a global pharmaceutical company? Lundbeck is looking for a talented Intern to join our Distribution team and help shape the future of sustainable and efficient supply chain operations.
Your new role
As a Supply Chain Student Assistant, you will support Lundbeck's ongoing transformation to a Partner Market operating model, where external partners manage logistics and distribution activities on Lundbeck's behalf. You will play an important role in ensuring smooth collaboration with our partners by supporting process improvements, monitoring performance, and providing data-driven insights.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with global supply chain operations in a highly regulated industry while developing your analytical and project management skills.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Order management: Support order changes and follow-up activities in collaboration with Commercial Operations and external partners.
- Data analysis and reporting: Collect, structure, and analyze supply chain data. Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance, including OTIF, compliance to supply terms, and service levels.
- Process optimization: Support process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain and Partner Market operations.
- Performance management: Assist in tracking operational performance and identifying opportunities to improve collaboration with partners.
Your future team
You will work closely with the Supply Chain Partner Market Manager in the Distribution team. The team is responsible for supporting Lundbeck's Partner Markets by ensuring efficient supply chain processes, strong collaboration with logistics partners, and high service levels across global markets.
As part of a small and collaborative team, you will gain broad exposure to supply chain operations, stakeholder management, and business transformation in an international environment.
The position is based in Valby, Denmark
The position is paid and has no predefined end date, starting September 1st, 2026.
What you bring to the team
The job is relevant for students studying supply chain within an engineering context.
- You are studying supply chain, either in an engineering or business context.
- You have an analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Strong Excel skills are required; experience with advanced analytics and data tools such as Python, SQL, or PowerBi is a plus.
- Interest in supply chain transformation and process improvement.
- You are a proactive team player eager to learn and collaborate.
- Experience working with large datasets is an advantage.
