Are you experienced and ready to lead and manage Vendor oversight & performance monitoring across selected key vendors, used by Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs within the R&D regulated areas at H. Lundbeck A/S?

 

Welcome to the Project Management & Vendor Oversight (PMVO) department

The department consists of 5 dedicated colleagues working with cross-functional business challenges primarily in relation to the Medical Affairs & Pharmacovigilance (MAPV) area but also beyond either as Vendor Oversight Manager or Project Manager. By joining our department, you will work in close collaboration with highly qualified colleagues within the area Management, Line of business (LoB) as well as various service functions. The Vendors managed by PMVO range from service providers to IT system Vendors.

 

Your job and key responsibilities

As Vendor Oversight Manager, Specialist in the PMVO department you will co-drive continued development and implementation of our current Vendor oversight & performance monitoring model(s) to ensure service delivery within agreed scope, time, cost and quality. You will drive planning, organisation and execution of all operational phases of vendor oversight and vendor management together with LoB and appointed Vendor staff. You will be responsible for risk & issue management as well as oversight and implementation of continuous improvements initiatives in close cooperation with the Vendors. Your work should be driven with a partnership mindset to support and drive successful collaboration between us and the Vendors. There will be expectations of efficient stakeholder management incl. regular updates and analyses of performance trending’s to be delivered to the management groups and line functions with the objective of transparent performance monitoring & oversight status. Furthermore, you will be the key link between the operational team and the management team within the established Vendor governance structure. Additionally, you may get involved in other monitoring, oversight, quality optimization and analytical tasks within the MAPV area.

Qualifications

Our preferred candidate has:

  • 5 – 10 years’ working experience in a Client / Vendor Oversight management lead capacity, including proven track record for partnering with critical Vendors (Service providers, IT) in Pharma R&D regulated areas
  • High personal motivation, a “we can & want to do it” attitude, to drive and lead Vendors to deliver within scope, time and budget by use of appropriate tools and at expected quality.
  • Strong quality mindset, including solid experience with risk & issue handling; actions & budget management, development and monitoring of KPIs
  • Analytical skills, critical thinker, with confidence and ability to work consultative and professional in a multicultural setting also under high pressure
  • Good at stakeholder management, negotiation and communication at all levels inside and outside the organisation
  • Holds a University degree preferable in Life Science or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
