Are you experienced and motivated by leading and managing performance monitoring & oversight of vendor performance? Are you ready to drive vendor monitoring & oversight across selected vendors and implement model(s), used by Medical Affairs & Pharmacovigilance (MAPV) within R&D at H. Lundbeck A/S?

 

Welcome to the Project Management Processes & Systems (PPS) department

The department consists of 5 dedicated colleagues working with project / vendor management and business challenges in relation to the Medical Affairs & Pharmacovigilance areas from the perspective of processes, IT applications and business oversight. You will join the Project Management Processes & Systems department and work in close collaboration with highly qualified colleagues within Medical Affairs & Pharmacovigilance management and Line functions.

 

Your job and key responsibilities

As our Vendor Oversight Manager, you will ensure development, implementation of performance monitoring & oversight models, processes and tools, to ensure expected performance, quality of performance and oversight of financials. You will drive planning, organisation and execution of all phases of vendor oversight. The operations will involve e.g. analyses and monitoring of the performance in collaboration with vendors as well as oversight of vendor continuous improvements implementation and follow-up.  

To ensure expected vendor performance by MAPV selected service providers and IT vendors your work should be driven with a mindset of partnership to support and drive oversight of vendors ability to meet and perform service deliveries according to agreements, and within agreed scope, quality, budget and timelines. The various activities included in vendor monitoring & oversight will be done in close cooperation with relevant Line functions and vendors in scope. There will be expectations of regular updates, analyses and trending to be delivered to the MAPV management group as well as to Line functions with the objective of transparent status of performance monitoring & overview. Furthermore, the Vendor Oversight Manager may also be involved in other monitoring, oversight, quality optimization and analytical tasks.

Qualifications

Our preferred candidate:

  • High personal motivation and drive for working with, monitoring and oversight of vendors and ability to develop and deliver vendor quality oversight within scope, time and budget by use of appropriate tools
  • >2 years working experience with Vendor oversight, project management, clinical trials management, e.g. pharma, CRO
  • >5 years working experience preferably within pharmaceutical industry R&D regulated area
  • Holds a University degree preferable in Life Science or equivalent.
  • Strong quality mindset, analytical skills and business understanding as well as excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills at all levels inside and outside the organisation
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
