SUMMARY: 
The Associate Director, Consumer Marketing - Neurology will lead the implementation of patient activation activities for Vyepti as it relates to pulling-through consumer strategy, including but not limited to DTC campaigns, broadcast television and digital initiatives. This individual will also drive brand execution and performance across key consumer marketing workstreams within the team, in collaboration with other consumer marketing team members, cross-functional partners, and through various projects.   

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Working with the Sr. Director of Consumer and Customer Experience Strategy, role drives the pull-through and execution of brand consumer strategy utilizing sound marketing principles, analytics, and available market research

  • Proactively considers/identifies new tactics to challenge the team’s thinking and raise the level of performance to drive impact for the brand

  • Proactively looks at brand performance and identifies areas of opportunity

  • In partnership with other marketing colleagues, responsible for management of the consumer AOR and consumer agency coordination for specific project initiatives. 

  • Develops and deploys DTC campaign for Vyepti, including possible national broadcast television and digital pull-through

  • Creates and draws actionable insights from consumer market research plan

  • Works with peers, leadership, and finance to build and manage consumer brand budget

  • Ensures all marketing projects are compliant and have obtained necessary approvals through the appropriate medical, legal, and regulatory process

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence

  • Supports the consumer brand planning process including tactical planning and alignment to strategy, in collaboration with cross-functional partners.  

  • Establishes key performance indicators through collaboration with cross-functional partners and monitors progress.

  • Works closely with the customer experience team to address content gaps along the consumer journey based on defined metrics

  • Partners with Market Access and Trade & Distribution teams to ensure positive consumer experience with Vyepti HUB support

  • Partners with Medical, Legal and Regulatory Affairs to communicate reasons for strategic and tactical plans and collaborates to successfully communicate brand information.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:

  • Accredited Bachelor's Degree

  • 6+ years sales, marketing or other relevant commercial or analytical experience

  • 4+ years pharmaceutical/medical/healthcare product brand marketing or other pharmaceutical/medical/healthcare product commercial leadership experience, including prior experience within Consumer Marketing

  • Experience and knowledge of US consumer market

  • Must be agile in their work approach and ability to learn quickly and pivot as needed

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills along with an ability to influence both within and outside the organization

  • Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong scientific/medical aptitude and experience

  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and build consensus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, namely Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:

  • MBA or master’s degree

  • Experience and knowledge within neurology

  • Experience and knowledge of migraine

  • Experience and knowledge of infusion products

  • Pharmaceutical sales and/or sales management experience

  • Knowledge of the AMA, ACCME, PhRMA and FDA regulations associated with promotion and industry-supported scientific education activities

 

TRAVEL

  • Willingness/Ability to travel approximately 25% domestically. International travel may be required
