POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Director, Omnichannel Operation Business Partner will be responsible for facilitating the collaboration on the development, implementation and deployment of omnichannel initiatives across enabling functions to ensure timely delivery of the initiatives to inhouse digital operation that deliver effective Omnichannel customer experiences for the organization. Reporting into Omnichannel Customer Engagement lead, this individual will be an integral partner to the commercial organization and the primary go-to for Omnichannel operational needs across product portfolio. He or she will work closely with the business units, as well as both internal and external working teams to ensure seamless translation and interpretation between business requirements, objectives and technical specifications and applications. This person must have deep knowledge in Omnichannel space for both hcp and consumer audience and Adobe technology stack, be a strategic storyteller and a strong collaborator with a proven track record of navigating complex organizational structures/experience in highly matrixed environments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide omnichannel Subject Matter Expertise and digital operation stewardship to internal functions including technology, data and analytics team as well as external partners to ensure alignment and accountability on omnichannel operational initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Assist the Omnichannel lead to define and execute on the short-term Omnichannel roadmap and facilitate the implementation and deployment of the digital solutions through pilot opportunities.
- Establishing documentation and processing to drive omnichannel best practices by performing website analytics, developing SOP, consistent data collection/tagging strategy, standardized workflow etc to bring efficiency to omnichannel platform and process.
- Provide strategic thinking to inform long-term omnichannel capability roadmap and strategic planning that will evolve the way Lundbeck engages HCPs, patients, and payors.
- Conduct performance assessment and quality check on the selection, implementation, and management of technologies that enhance omni-channel execution.
- Translate business requirements into implementable omni-channel technology specification. Identify, communication any potential gaps and work with a liaison between business units and the technology team to develop solutions.
- Partners with cross functional teams and business units to actively influence tactical planning by providing direction on operational know-how across digital channels (Media, CRM, Websites, IVA, VAE, etc.).
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:
- Accredited Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience in digital operations, omnichannel marketing, technology in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry or experience in consulting activities for the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with strong commercial experiences in omni-channel activation, or digital marketing, with a focus on leading teams and driving activation strategies.
- Strong expertise and hands-on experience in Adobe technology stack, website analytics, digital data/platform enablement and digital operation.
- Experience in marketing enablement, marketing automation, and journey orchestration within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Proven experience in managing external vendors to support omni-channel marketing efforts.
- Expertise in web technology/platform and IT processes. Communicates and collaborates effectively with IT and/or highly-technical team.
- Expertise in media strategy and execution, including bid strategies, paid media, and media planning.
- Strong understanding of content tagging, personalization techniques, and customer journey mapping.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to connect the dots to understand all the interdependency and big picture and translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through presentation and with the ability to simplify complex matters and communicate with all levels of an organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills –ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders in a cross-functional matrixed environment and manage expectations.
- Must be a strong critical thinker and problem solver, who is innovative, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, creative, and analytical.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment (sense of urgency, adaptable, champion of change) is required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:
- Strong Preference to be based in Deerfield, IL Office
- Accredited bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or related field or accredited master’s degree in MBA or related fields.
- Relevant experience in Omnichannel marketing principles and strategies, as well as channel development, preferably on pharma industry.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical data (e.g., retail/ non-retail, distribution, specialty pharmacy, payer, promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data) both for traditional pharmacy products as well as medical products.
- Experience with pharmaceutical launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical products.
- Expertise with Google Analytics, AB testing platforms, VEEVA SFMC and social media analytics/reporting (incl. proficiency in A/B testing, multivariate testing).
- Understanding of Promomats (ability to track status/flow of jobs) and modular content capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint).
TRAVEL:
- Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.
- If based remotely, additional travel will be required to Deerfield, IL, to meet the needs of the role and the business
The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $170,000 - $190,000 and eligibility for a 20% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company’s long-term incentive plan.
