This position will support the alignment, effectiveness, engagement and retention of the Lundbeck sales teams through effective communication. This individual will work closely with Commercial leaders and various cross-functional partners to manage, create and properly prioritize all field communications.



  • Create communications plans and manage, develop and execute deliverables to support the needs of the product portfolio
  • Collaborate with Commercial leaders to create and deliver internal content to drive strategic objectives
  • Work as a strategic partner to support Commercial planning and communication execution
  • Serve as project manager for all communication to the Lundbeck sales teams
  • Identify the volume, depth, scope and medium of all field sales communications while making recommendations to optimize communications from the home office
  • Analyze the content of communications for pertinence, redundancy, relevance and efficiency
  • Manage the master sales communication calendar and serve as a filter for all field communication to mitigate confusion, ensure appropriate field force action, and to prevent overload of initiatives
  • Manage operational, day-to-day communications for Neurology and Psychiatry teams and facilitate distribution
  • Provide communications support and counsel for a variety of Commercial internal initiatives and campaigns including: gathering information, developing content, routing content for approval to appropriate parties, distributing approved content


  • Acccredited Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, English, journalism or related field
  • 5+ years of Communications-related experience 
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Experience in developing communication strategy, key messages and tactical execution plans
  • Self-starter, able to work well as a member of an integrated team, but can also work independently with limited oversight, and build key business relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills               



  • Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
  • Leadership communication experience a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and to deal well with competing priorities and a changing business environment
  • Must have proven ability to meet or exceed deadlines



  • Some domestic travel may be required.
