SUMMARY

The Sales Force Effectiveness Analyst will play an integral role in supporting initiatives to drive sales force effectiveness and business acumen and provide timely and accurate in-depth analytics to enable strategic business decisions related to and in support of the field sales teams. This role requires communication and coordination with home office functions and field sales personnel.  The individual will educate and train field personnel on frequent questions and field sales operations systems. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinates and leads analytic efforts in support of sales related activities including but not limited to call planning, incentive compensation, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, field sales communications and training materials
  • Responsible for creation and distribution of a monthly Field Sales Newsletter
  • Provides accurate and in-depth analysis to support strategic sales force initiatives, targeting and incentive compensation program
  • Reviews and updates field sales training materials for work streams such as call planning, Incentive Compensation and field sales reporting; delivers live training as needed
  • Supports meetings through effective meeting planning including building agendas, preparing presentations and documenting key decisions and follow up
  • Creates and maintains knowledge documents for the field sales teams based on Frequently Asked Questions
  • Responsible for identifying and tracking key dates and deliverables for the Sales Planning & Execution team
  • Supports the Sales Planning & Execution team as needed

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of relevant analytic work experience
  • Strong ability to effectively analyze and interpret data and present recommendations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical subject matter experts
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in other MS Office applications, such as Word and PowerPoint

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

  • Proven ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work cross functionally
  • Project Management
  • Experience in Field Sales Team Analytics, Incentive Compensation, Database Architecture and Project Management preferred
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence reporting tools (Qlik, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical data (i.e. retail/ non-retail, specialty pharmacy, payer, claims, etc.)

 

TRAVEL

  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 10% domestically. International travel may be required.
