SUMMARY:

The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for ensuring the data integrity and maintenance of employee and business information within all HR systems and process, producing reports, metrics and guidance for compliance and decision-making (including developing and integrating detailed operating procedures). This position also: partners with various levels of HR (locally and at Corporate) and their internal customers to analyze work process design and flow; improves processes through complex data analysis and report analytics; helps leverage the return on technological capabilities; partners and assists with system planning, controls, testing and implementation of HR solutions; and advises, guides, supports, and partners with broader HR and users on systems, programs and interpretation of policies. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develops and maintains HR system tables, and documents processes and results in a quick, accurate and efficient manner.

Assists in review, testing and implementation of HR system upgrades or patches. Collaborates with Corporate functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades or fixes.

Provides support for all HR systems including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HR system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. Performs scheduled activities. Recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

Writes, maintains and supports variety of complex reports and queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard and complex reports for on-going customer needs.

Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy with intent to be reviewed/approved by appropriate leadership for implementation.

Understands and uses qualitative and quantitative measurement and data collection design principles. 

Maintains data integrity in systems. This includes developing and running audit queries, analyzing data, automating processes, and developing and implementing methods to ensure root source data quality.

Interprets data, finds patterns, and makes business recommendations based on trends in data.

Maintains awareness of current trends in HR systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.

Allies with HR broader team to understand their needs and the needs of their client groups; and develops creative solutions to needs and uncover further opportunities.

Assists with HR special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:

  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of HRIS system administration and/or business analytics experience
  • Proven ability to function as internal HRIS Subject Matter Expert recommending, developing and implementing technical solutions that enhance efficiencies and performance
  • Strong understanding of HR system database / interface design including table structures, functions and processes, and experience with database tools 
  • Highly proficient with Excel and the Microsoft Suite
  • Customer focused and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in a team environment
  • Ability to think analytically through complex HR and business issues, and resolve issues through system capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate system resolution with vendors and interfaces between vendors

  • Ability to drive results

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, information systems or related field
  • HRIS system administration experience specific to SAP/SuccessFactors
  • Systems implementation experience
  • Experience with and working knowledge of Affirmative Action programs and reporting
  • HRIP certification
  • Knowledge of payroll, benefits and compensation administration practices
  • Prior experience working in or with other HR disciplines

 

TRAVEL

  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 10% domestically. International travel may be required.
