The Senior Manager, Payer Marketing, will be responsible for the development and implementation of key payer strategies and initiatives that are focused on securing access for Vyepti (Eptinezumab) with both commercial and government payers in the US.  This person will be responsible for managing and supporting cross functional efforts around the creation of the payer value proposition, associated pharmacoecomic and promotional tactics, training account and field-based market access staff, facilitating vendor contracts and overseeing the payer marketing project budget.  These efforts will include a need to coordinate cross functionally with the US Marketing, Medical Affairs, Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR), Regulatory, Legal, and Training. This individual will identify the need for payer market research and be able to synthesize actionable business critical insights to develop and optimally execute the payer strategy and tactics. He/she will represent the promotional review process for key managed market tactics and programs and ensure alignment with overall market access and commercial strategy.



  • In collaboration with Brand Marketing, develop and execute U.S. market access strategies which includes identification of key market issues and opportunities, critical success factors, key tactical programs, payer product positioning and messaging and metric development.
  • Builds strong working relationships internally with Brand Marketing, Sales, and other cross functional groups to accomplish team goals and support brand objectives.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of payer dynamics, medical and pharmacy benefit designs, and its implications for physician and patient product adoption.
  • Supports execution of marketing strategy by ensuring all activities are aligned with and executed in accordance with the larger strategic plan, and guides team on interpreting channel/brand marketing strategy into managed markets objectives and priorities.
  • Help to guide and shape brand strategic decisions through market research and lessons learned
  • Evidence of strong analytical skills, project planning, and organizational skills required
  • Strong communication leadership and ability to drive influence across stakeholders to align work efforts and ensure outstanding execution
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory guidelines, FDA 114 criteria, and other compliance related criteria



  • Accredited Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of managed markets experience (e.g., commercial, Medicaid, Medicare)
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Market/Payer Analytics, Marketing Research, or Field Sales support in the pharmaceutical or related industry
  • Able to create and execute managed healthcare strategies, which includes the use of pharmaceutical data sources (Symphony Health, IQVIA, Truven’s, MMIT, HSG, etc.)
  • Proven ability to distill complex information into concise and impactful messages/presentations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to rollout marketing and training materials
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships and influence without authority



  • Experience working with Alliance Partners



  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 15% domestically. International travel may be required.
