Summary:
Lundbeck US is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and experienced individual for the position of Senior Manager, Data & AI Products. This role is responsible for supporting the strategy, architecture, implementation, and optimization of enterprise data and AI products aligned to portfolio and business priorities. The individual will support responsible and ethical innovation and business transformation through scalable data platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and Agentic AI capabilities that automate, optimize, and accelerate business outcomes across the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Inform enterprise data products aligned to the brand and portfolio strategic priorities and seamlessly integrate data strategy into the overall business strategy.
- Support the implementation of enterprise data products and driving user adoption of same
- Support design, implementation, operations, and testing of enterprise data products
- Support the implementation and governance of patient-level and HCP-level data assets, ensuring appropriate privacy, security, de-identification, and data use controls.
- Ensure appropriate escalation and engagement of Privacy, Legal, Information Security, and AI governance stakeholders when AI-enabled solutions involve PHI, PII, or other sensitive information.

- Support and operationalize the data products architecture, including:
- Metadata platforms
- Agentic AI: Data Ingestion, Data Extracts, Alerts, Orchestration, etc.
- Data quality and observability tools
- Integration with cloud data platforms and APIs
- Support responsible and ethical use of data and AI technologies by incorporating privacy, data ethics, bias mitigation, and governance considerations into product design and implementation.
- Support evaluation and selection of vendors, tools, and platforms supporting data and AI products, ensuring appropriate privacy, security, compliance, and AI governance reviews are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work with Data Governance team to establish strong data governance frameworks aligned with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements
- Ensure AI-enabled solutions and Agentic AI capabilities are developed and deployed in accordance with Lundbeck AI governance requirements, including appropriate engagement of governance stakeholders, risk assessment processes, human oversight, and ongoing monitoring.

- Partner with other teams to design, implement, and optimize data architectures to meet business needs and priorities.
- Work with Data Governance team to create a robust data quality management system to ensure data integrity and single source of truth across all data products
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Information Security teams to ensure data products and AI-enabled solutions comply with applicable privacy, security, and data governance requirements, including HIPAA and Lundbeck policies.
- Partner with multiple functional teams like brand, analytics, patient services, etc. to define new and changes in business rules/processes.
- Ensure effective communication of data-related issues, challenges, and initiatives across the organization.
- Perform Data Analysis, and Data Gap Findings
- Generate data-driven insights for business teams and support validation of AI-generated outputs, analyses, and recommendations prior to business use or decision-making.
- Partner with the AI Council and AI Risk Governance Council, as appropriate, to support evaluation, governance, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of AI-enabled solutions and high-risk AI use cases.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement and encourage knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
- Supervision of vendor resources on their day-to-day tasks
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Accredited bachelor’s degree in quantitative field
- 8+ years of relevant experience in quantitative focused positions demonstrating continuous career progression in strategy and implementation roles.
- 3+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
- Experience of working with 1st Party datasets: Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distributor, Patient HUB, Patient Data Aggregator, etc.
- Experience of working on 3rd Party Demand/Sales/Claims datasets like IQVIA Xponent Plantrak, IQVIA DDD, IQVIA NPA, IQVIA NSP, IQVIA LAAD, IQVIA SOB etc.
- Experience of working on Internal Commercial datasets like Roster, Alignment, Sales Hierarchy, Call Plan, Segmentation, Forecasts, etc.
- Experience of working on CRM data like Veeva Calls, Veeva CLM, Veeva Events, etc.
- Experience of working on business processes like Inclusion/Exclusion, Factorization, etc.
- Experience in performing Data Analysis, and writing SQL Data Queries
- Demonstrated project management skills in a team setting, especially in situations where team members are not direct reports.
- Highly proficient in pharma market data, vendors, technology platforms and best practices
- Proficient in various patient-level data as well as other syndicated patient data sources
- Highly proficient analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to connect the dots to understand all the interdependency and big picture and translate strategy and analysis to tactical, executable solutions.
- Experience working within regulated environments and implementing data or AI solutions subject to privacy, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through presentation and with the ability to simplify complex matters and communicate with all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to foster enterprise-wide innovation and transformation through thought leadership, exemplary written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lead collaboration without direct authority and navigate in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt changing priorities of the organization.
- Able to identify best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Experience in generating customer insights
- Experience of working on IC related datasets like Credited Sales, Goal Setting, etc.
- Experience with enablement of in-house Cleanroom (Data Remediation based on Expert Determination)
- Experience with enablement of in-house Patient Data Aggregation
- Strong Preference to be based in Deerfield, IL Office
Travel:
- Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.
- If based remotely, additional travel will be required to Deerfield, IL, to meet the needs of the role and the business
The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $150,000 - $170,000 and eligibility for a 15% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company’s long-term incentive plan.
