Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?
As part of the Group Financial Compliance Team, you will work as a trusted advisor and business partner having a pivotal role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the organization’s financial risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.
In the role you will assess financial and operational processes globally to identity risks and propose mitigating actions and improvements.
You will become part of Lundbeck’s Group Financial Compliance Team, where the tasks and responsibilities include:
- Support the Internal Financial Compliance reviews, including developing, planning and executing audits as agreed with the Audit Committee.
- Supporting optimization on Lundbeck’s Internal Control Framework
- Various financial compliance tasks such as oversight and control of Related Party Transaction, advisory and monitoring of Audit fee, etc.
- Supporting the External Auditor process in relation to risk and compliance
- Review key financial governance policies (e.g. Authorization & Signing) to ensure alignment with evolving risks and operational practices.
- Prepare timely and high-quality reports for presentation to relevant local management.
- Acting as a business partner to the Global Finance organization and other stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships with main stakeholders
You will get a broad insight into Lundbeck’s financial processes globally.
The role includes 3-8 weeks of travel per year.
Your future team
You will join the Financial Compliance Team within Group Finance dedicated to safeguarding Lundbeck’s financial assets against intentional and non-intentional errors and fraud. The department is overall responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the organization’s financial risk management, financial compliance, internal controls, and governance processes.
You will join an international organization and team and work closely with team members sitting in Valby, Denmark, and Kraków, Poland, and other finance specialist across Lundbeck’s global reach.
The position is based in Kraków, Poland.
What you bring to the team
- Background as an internal or external auditor with at least 3+ years of professional experience in auditing, risk controlling and/or accounting from an international audit firm or listed company.
- Experience in risk identification, mitigation, and internal controls.
- Master’s Degree in Auditing, Accounting and Finance or similar.
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with absolute ethical integrity.
- Thrive in dynamic environments and continuously seek innovative and proactive solutions in your way of working.
- A true team player who shares knowledge, combined with strong communication, analytical skills, and problem-solving capacity.
- Experience with SAP, business intelligence solutions, and data analytics is beneficial.
