Financial Compliance Auditor, Group Financial Compliance


The purpose of the role is to drive Lundbeck towards efficient compliance through the development and implementation of operational and financial improvements within the global organization. As part of the Group Financial Compliance Team, you will have a pivotal role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the organization’s financial risk management, financial compliance, internal controls and governance processes. 

This is a unique opportunity if you are an internal control specialist with flair for auditing, who wants to be part of Lundbeck’s financial compliance journey.

 

Your new role

You will work as a trusted advisor and business partner managing and reviewing the global internal control environment, supporting the execution of the global finance strategy ensuring efficient compliance. In the role you will assess financial and operational risks and processes globally and ensure that the internal control environment appropriately mitigates risks, while providing insights into potential standardizations and automation opportunities.  

You will act as a subject matter expert and support and advise local management in assessing local risk environments to ensure appropriate risk mitigation. With this understanding you will monitor and test the internal controls and ensure that the internal controls operated effectively for the global organization. 

 

The role includes 5-7 weeks of travel per year.

In the role you will advice the global organization on financial compliance issues, risks and improvements. The role is key in safeguarding Lundbeck’s financial assets against international and non-intentional errors and fraud, finally reporting financial compliance issues to Lundbeck’s Audit Committee. 

You will get a broad insight into Lundbeck’s financial processes across operations and countries, as well as be working closely with key stakeholders in the global organization.

As a Financial Compliance Auditor you will join a young and engaged team focused on working towards increasing efficient compliance globally. As trusted business advisors we aim to understand the issues and concerns of the organization. 

You will join an international organization working closely with finance specialist across Lundbeck’s global reach. 

 

What you bring to the team

  • You have 3+ years of overall combined accounting and auditing experience and are used to planning and executing external or internal audits. 
  • It is preferred that you have a Master’s in Auditing, a Master’s in Accounting and Finance or similar.
  • You have experience in working for global organisation within complex structure and diversed cultural environment
  • English on fluent level
