Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

The role involves setting up effective business partnering with senior stakeholders in headquarters and has the potential for further professional growth. As an SG&A Finance Controller, you will have the possibility to develop your career toward the senior controller and you will have the opportunity to take up various assignments, not limited to supporting the HQ.

 

In your new role, your key responsibilities will cover:

  • Managing the periodic results and preparing standard and ad-hoc reporting, including executive summary
  • Group functions cost controlling, evaluating performance and business trends to support optimal financial performance and improvements,
  • Assisting in delivering analysis and business insights to support management decisions, recommendations, business case modelling, and scenario analysis,
  • Participating in cost planning activities according to the Group Finance annual wheel,
  • Involved in target setting and budgeting process,
  • Business partnering at every level of the organization and with various finance knowledge,
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements,
  • Striving for process and system optimization.

The responsibilities can be tailored, depending on the candidate’s personal and professional qualifications, and with several opportunities to take ownership of ad-hoc strategic projects and forecasting tasks.

 

 

Your future team

You will become a member of the Group Finance, responsible for the strategic financial support for Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and many other internal and external stakeholders.

Group Finance owns and executes the global finance strategy including various financial processes, such as budgets and estimates, and is also responsible for comprehensive controlling and compliance efforts.

The position is based in Krakow, Poland.

 

 

What you bring to the team 

The need-to-have qualifications and hard skills:

  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive controlling/accounting experience, with preference towards management controlling
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Computer literate with proficient data mining and ERP systems as well as knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • English at C1
  • Business Partnering experience will be a strong asset to the role as well as experience in effectively communicating key data, including advanced presentations to the management

  • Structured and organized approach to assigned tasks and execution-focused mindset,
  • Willing to work in a diverse environment with switching priorities and the ability to cope with multiple tasks,
  • Proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working and processes,
  • Mature attitude towards challenges and problem-solving.

Preferred Education

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance/Controlling or equivalent
