Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

The main purpose of the role is acting as support for independent VAT Specialist or Senior VAT specialist and Tax Manager, ensuring the high-quality Indirect Tax Reporting for locations in scope, being responsible for supporting VAT Team in setting up new VAT products flows, submission of declarations and VAT checks.

 

As a member of the team, you will:

  • Be responsible for ensuring the appropriate data quality and correctness of source data used for indirect tax reporting
  • Prepare indirect tax reports, with support from senior colleagues as required by local legislation, and ensure timely filing of tax returns to the relevant tax authorities, including corrections and adjustments
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Group Tax and local teams
  • Execute agreed internal controls for assigned locations and report any incompliance to the Tax Manager
  • Maintain and update process documentation
  • Support tax audits and reviews
  • Manage queries and service requests, and escalate tax risks to the Team Manager
  • Participate in projects, improvement initiatives, and migrations.

 

Your future team

You will join the Tax Department managed by Tax Manager locally in Cracow and cooperate with senior stakeholders in Denmark. The team consists of a group of 4 qualified employees who are willing to share their knowledge and take on a number of challenges in the field of indirect taxation.

 

What you bring to the team 

  • University degree in Tax advisory, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • 1+ years of VAT reporting
  • Interest in gain experience with International VAT and with tax returns preparation
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP (SAP)
  • English: B2/C1 level (another European language is welcomed)

  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and well-organized, able to adapt and reprioritize in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach
