Legal Specialist
Kraków, Małopolskie, PL
Would you like to support our world-class R&D organization in achieving its goals? Do you enjoy working with international contracts, and would you like to be part of an ambitious but friendly legal team that tirelessly supports Lundbeck’s mission of restoring brain health so that everyone can be their best?
If it sounds like you, why don’t you join Lundbeck in Krakow, a certified Great Place to Work in, and get your brain in the game?
Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?
We are looking for a dedicated legal specialist to support our organization by providing legal advice and guidance, and by assisting with contract negotiations. Your work will primarily include drafting, negotiating, interpreting and amending various international agreements — such as research agreements, confidentiality agreements, consultancy agreements and licensing arrangements. No two days are alike.
Experience with international agreements is appreciated, but not required. We train all newcomers and have an extensive onboarding program to ensure your success.
In short, this is a great opportunity to work alongside dedicated colleagues who support the development of innovative treatments that improve the lives of people living with brain diseases.
Your future team
You will be joining the R&D Legal team, which is part of Global Legal & Compliance. The team consists of five highly skilled colleagues who are both professional and passionate about our mission. While we often work independently on contracts, we also prioritize knowledge sharing, continuously improving our processes, and supporting each other to become even better.
The team has a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. We make an effort to meet for social events, team meetings and one-to-one sessions as often as possible. We also understand and respect that people have a life outside work. Free time is valuable, and working hours are flexible to accommodate that.
What you bring to the team
Our preferred candidates have the following qualifications:
- Law degree (and license to practice as a lawyer) in at least one EU jurisdiction.
- Ideally 1–3 years of experience from a law firm or private company drafting, negotiating, interpreting and amending international contracts (but more experienced candidates are also welcome to apply).
- Experience in driving and improving processes, including strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A global mindset and fluency in English.
Our promise to you
Lundbeck offers an inspiring workplace and innovative culture, where our curiosity, accountability and adaptability enable us to transform lives. We want to go faster and further on addressing the big unmet needs of people living with brain disorders. We offer rewarding careers with a mix of exciting tasks and development opportunities that are balanced with initiatives focused on your well-being.
Highlights of selected benefits:
- Flexible working arrangements (flexible weekly and daily schedules)
- Cafeteria program
- Unique recognition system
- Holiday bonus for when you’re out of the office
- Comfortable and modern office with top-notch equipment and well-equipped relax rooms
- Robust integration and event framework
