Specialist, Accounts Receivable & Intercompany

The main purpose of the role is monitoring and performing chosen Accounts Receivable and Intercompany tasks. The role contributes to ensuring proper reconciliation and reporting for assigned balance sheet and intercompany accounts. Specialist, AR & IC acts independently within area of responsibility connecting and interacting with all relevant stakeholders.

  • Acting as an independent specialist for Accounts Receivable and Intercompany areas
  • Reconciling bank statements postings against general ledgers and clearing accounts together with reconciliation of intra and intercompany transactions
  • Calculating intercompany recharges
  • Being responsible for credit management and credit control tasks
  • Invoicing intercompany and range of external customers
  • Performing collection tasks by contacting customers directly
  • Performing month end activities within Accounts Receivable and Intercompany areas
  • Ensuring efficient management of Lundbeck receivables
  • Preparing cash forecasts related to Accounts Receivable area
  • Securing compliance according to internal procedures and legislation in the controls defined for Accounts
  • Receivable and Intercompany
  • Securing deadlines and assignments are executed according to company policies
  • Ensuring documentation for Accounts Receivable and Intercompany is updated with latest information

 

To be successful in this role, your experience should include

  • 1-2 years of work experience in Accounts Receivable/Intercompany team
  • Higher university degree in finance related field
  • English - at least B2 level is a must
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferable SAP Accounts Receivable/Intercompany modules
  • Accounting courses are an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex problems with minimal direction
  • Can-do attitude towards challenges and problems
  • Being able to work with tight deadlines and with switching priorities
  • Strong attention to details
  • Team player
