At Lundbeck Italy, we are looking for a Commercial Excellence Specialist with a strong analytical mindset and results-oriented approach, who will contribute to the development and implementation of Commercial Excellence and Customer Engagement models and processes to support the business.
The role supports the evolution of performance monitoring, segmentation, deployment, and insight generation, working cross-functionally to translate data and strategic priorities into measurable actions.

Your new role
The Commercial Excellence Specialist Neurology contributes to the development and implementation of commercial excellence and customer engagement models, ensuring a structured and data-driven approach to business decisions. The role collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Medical, and Global functions to translate analysis and strategic needs into concrete actions, fostering continuous improvement and the adoption of innovative solutions.
The position is based in the Lundbeck Italy head office in Milan.
Your main responsibilities will include
Commercial Excellence
- Evolution of segmentation, profiling, sizing, and territorial deployment models
- Definition and monitoring of customer engagement plans and field force KPIs
- Identification of opportunities to improve commercial models
Insight & Analytics
- Analysis of data from Sales, performance metrics, and customer engagement
- Management and optimization of Business Intelligence tools
- Translation of insights and market research into actionable recommendations
Omnichannel & Engagement
- Coordination of omnichannel campaigns between local and global teams
- Monitoring adoption of digital tools and CRM systems
- Optimization of customer journeys
PSP & Global Frameworks
- Support in monitoring Patient Support Programs
- Local implementation of global frameworks and tools
- Monitoring the operational impact of projects
Interaction with Lundbeck HQ
- Alignment on reporting, performance, and campaigns
- Local implementation of market research and global tools
- Participation in innovation initiatives
Project Management & Innovation
- Coordination of cross-functional projects
- Identification of improvement opportunities
- Support in introducing innovative solutions
Your future team
The position reports to the Customer Engagement Excellence Lead. You will join a head office team composed of two Customer Engagement Excellence Specialists and a Congress & Customer Interactions Coordinator; a collaborative and results-driven group that shares best practices and works in synergy to effectively support the business.
What you bring to the team

- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Scientific disciplines, or similar (postgraduate education in healthcare is a plus)
- At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare consulting
- Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination, including with Global teams
- Strong experience in data analysis to support business decisions
- Knowledge of Commercial Excellence, Field Force Effectiveness, and omnichannel Customer Engagement models
- Advanced experience with Business Intelligence and CRM tools (Power BI, DWH, Qlik, Veeva)
- Analytical, structured, and results-oriented mindset
- Advanced Excel skills and good command of English
