<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">We are looking for a <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Brand Director, <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Abilify Maintena & Rexulti <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">to join the Lundbeck Canada psychiatry business unit. This position is permanent full-time and is located at our head office in Ville Saint-

The Brand Director, Abilify Maintena & Rexulti reports to the Senior Director of the psychiatry business unit and is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the Abilify Maintena and Rexulti commercial plans in conjunction with our partner Otsuka Canada Inc. All marketers for these brands report into the Brand Director. The Brand Director should possess strong strategic capabilities, business acumen and proven leadership ability with a track record of building well organized, high performance, and highly skilled teams.

 

Brand strategy and execution (50%)

  • Lead the development and execution of brand strategies and plans to drive growth, achieve financial goals and establish long-term and strong positioning with customers.
  • Establish & integrate customer focus mindset and initiatives that will enable continuous improvement of insights, customer understanding and competitive positioning.
  • Develop metrics to monitor brand health and brand KPIs and lead business reviews to assess effectiveness of brand strategies.
  • Lead and monitor financial processes related to promotional brand budget, reporting and forecasting.
  • Oversee and guide the development and implementation of omnichannel communication campaigns and promotional activities and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Lead business cases assessment and development to optimize lifecycle management of brands in collaboration with relevant cross-functional team members, Otsuka Alliance Partner and Global teams.

 

Team management (30%)

  • Lead, coach and manage the marketing team and their performance, ensuring clarity in priorities and objectives, with a strong alignment on organisational objectives.
  • Develop and implement a functional plan to support training and development of marketing team and continuous enhancement of their capabilities, knowledge and expertise.
  • Instill a customer focus mindset with the marketing team that focuses on understanding customers needs and delivering value.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and high performance, engagement and compliance.
  • Embody managerial courage, consistently applying and coaching honest communication, feedback and team collaboration.

 

Cross-functional leadership & collaboration (20%)

  • Work closely with the other leaders of the psychiatry business unit to align on priorities and contribute to driving the success of the business unit through effective planning and execution.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Otsuka Alliance partner to optimize brands strategies and execution and achieve objectives.
  • Establish strong collaboration with all cross-functional departments to support implementation of strategies and tactics.
  • Lead effectively core team meetings and ensure continuous communication with all cross-functional team members to ensure alignment.
  • Liaise and collaborate with Global and North America Alliance team members to optimize efforts deployed in Canada and share best practices.

 

 

Position Qualifications

 

  • University degree in business and/or life sciences, MBA an asset
  • Minimum ten (10) years combined marketing and sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Knowledge of the CNS market
  • Excellent oral and written and oral communication skills in English and French
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with superior ability to plan and organize
  • Leadership, driving results and engagement in cross-functional teams, with a customer focused mindset
  • Situational adaptability and ability to manage ambiguity
