You will lead Lundbeck’s commercial organization in Canada, setting a clear direction for sustainable growth and ensuring our medicines reach the patients who may benefit from them. You will combine strategic thinking with strong execution, building high-performing teams and working across the Canadian organization and with regional and global colleagues to deliver on Lundbeck’s ambitions.
This is a senior leadership role, part of the Canadian leadership team, for someone who is curious about what is possible, adaptable in a changing Canadian healthcare environment and accountable for delivering results.

Your role

As VP, Commercial – Canada, you will be accountable for commercial strategy, performance and organizational capabilities across the Canadian business. You will bring a strong external perspective, ensuring we understand the evolving needs of patients, healthcare professionals, payers and other stakeholders across Canada.

Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Deliver sustainable performance. Through development and tracking of performance metrics and continuous assessment of the business,  you will be accountable for Canadian commercial results, identifying opportunities for growth while maintaining strong operational and financial discipline.
  • Be data driven. Ensure decisions are made based on analysis and understanding of the business and market dynamics
  • Put patients at the center. Ensure commercial priorities start with a strong understanding of the needs of people living with brain disorders in Canada.
  • Maximize our portfolio. Lead Canadian commercial strategy across in-market and future assets, including launch readiness, lifecycle planning and investment choices.
  • Support an enterprise-mindset. Ensure the team`s way of working includes a mindset that is beyond commercial and sales, and take into consideration the broader organization
  • Navigate the Canadian environment. Apply a strong understanding of Canada’s healthcare systems, provincial and federal dynamics, reimbursement environment and stakeholder landscape to commercial decisions.
  • Build future capabilities. Strengthen commercial excellence, customer engagement, analytics and other capabilities needed to succeed in the evolving Canadian healthcare environment.
  • Lead and develop people. Build an inclusive, accountable and high-performing Canadian organization where people can grow, contribute and challenge established thinking.
  • Work across boundaries. Partner closely with Medical, Market Access, Finance and other Canadian functions, as well as regional and global colleagues, to connect scientific, patient and commercial perspectives.
  • Bring the outside in. Maintain a strong understanding of Canadian customers, competitors, healthcare systems and emerging trends, using these insights to shape local and broader Lundbeck decisions.
  • Make clear choices. Prioritize resources and investments based on patient impact, strategic value, evidence and business potential.
  • Lead responsibly. Ensure commercial activities meet Canadian requirements and Lundbeck’s standards for ethics, compliance and responsible business conduct.
  • Represent Lundbeck in Canada. Build trusted relationships with relevant external stakeholders and represent Lundbeck with credibility, transparency and integrity.
