Maintenance Development at Lundbeck
Maintenance Development is part of Chemical Engineering and Maintenance at our production site in Lumsås at Sjællands Odde where we produce Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients according to GMP. We are responsible for the systematic development of the maintenance strategy that ensures overall equipment maintenance with focus on low cost and high production uptime. Our activities are optimization, improvements and support. We therefore work closely with colleagues across functions such as Engineering, Production, Chemists, QA functions and with our colleagues at our API production site in Padova, Italy.
Maintenance Development is a strong group of 10 Engineers and Technicians, with a great team spirit, informal atmosphere and passion for sharing knowledge and insights across the organization. The role is based at Lundbeck’s Chemical Production site in Lumsås, where we are approx. 200 employees. A rotation at our Italian facility must be anticipated.
Your job and the journey
We are searching for a graduate who can support the Maintenance Development department in the daily work, while developing professional and personal skills and expertise for a career in Maintenance Engineering. You will report to and work closely with the Maintenance Development Manager position. You will participate in the Maintenance team and be interacting with project groups and work in close collaboration with the different departments across the site.
For you to learn as much as possible about Maintenance, the Graduate Program includes periods of job rotations to other relevant areas in Lundbeck. The program consists of two-three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, be responsible for your own assignments, and be engaged in our day-to-day business decisions. During the program, you will also participate in a wide range of development activities on your own as well as with other graduates across the entire value chain. Everything is designed to guide you through the program, making sure you are on track and able to unfold your potential.
Qualifications
Our preferred graduate has the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering, or a related field, with a maximum of one-year post-academic work experience
- Interest in improving and development of Maintenance strategies
- Have a high level of personal drive and a high learning ability
- Have an interest in implementing initiatives from office to operational sites
- Experience in Maintenance Systems (CMMS) is not a requirement but will be considered a plus
- Excellent academic achievements and English language skills
- You have the ambition to push yourself to achieve results
- You are eager to learn, contribute and apply knowledge
- You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- You actively seek new ways to grow and to be challenged using both formal and informal development channels
