The MES Programme

The Manufacturing Execution System Programme is responsible for delivering the foundation for the future production IT solution in Lundbeck enabling production to leverage digitalization towards operational excellence. The MES Programme will implement one manufacturing operation management system across the 4 production sites. The value chain of the production covers manufacturing of the active pharmaceutical ingredient, through formulation to packaging. The Programme is responsible for system design, interfaces to other systems, design of future work-flows and local implementation of the solution.

The Programme consists of a highly diverse group of people, from internal specialists from different production disciplines and IT to external consultants and specialists and the solution supplier project group.

 

The position is based in Denmark, with expected rotation to France and/or Italy.

 

Your job and the journey

A graduate position with in the MES Programme invites you into a world of production, GXP, operational excellence, IT, project management and collaboration across disciplines.

The graduate position will be a key role in the MES Programme. You will facilitate and participate in the design and implementation of the MES solution at the 4 production sites. You will gain deep understanding of the MES solution, the relevant IT architecture and interfaces to other systems. You will develop competencies in production as well as in validation of IT systems.

Together with the future users of the system you will design the core solution and afterwards in the roll-out pr. site and become a skilled user of the system (in all production disciplines).

You will take both strategic, tactical and operational decisions and contributing to the solutions no matter if they are theoretical or practical.

The solution will be implemented in the Danish, Italian and French production sites and a part of the position will be a rotation to the sites ensuring the right solution for all parties and a smooth transition.

As you gain understanding and insights of the production, the IT solution and the surrounding systems, you will play a key role in ensuring the implementation of the manufacturing operation management system at the 4 production sites.

 

During the program you will participate in a wide range of development activities on your own as well as with other graduates - everything designed to guide you through the program, making sure you are on track and able to unfold your potential.

 

Qualifications

Our preferred graduate has the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree and/or a Ph.d. in a relevant field, e.g. IT, Production, Engineering or Supply Chain management with a maximum of one year post-academic work experience
  • Above average academic achievements and excellent English language skills
  • You are ambitious and push yourself to achieve results
  • You are eager to learn, contribute and apply knowledge
  • You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • You have strong analytical skills and can take decisions, both individual and in close collaboration with colleagues
  • You are hands-on but also able to think strategically
  • You have an international and collaborative mindset
  • You actively seek new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels
  • You adapt your approach and demeanour in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
