We are looking for a QA Academic to fill a vacant position in the department QA Chemical Production.
Your new role
We offer you an exciting job in a department with many different areas of responsibility, and plenty of opportunities to influence job content depending on interest and competencies. Through various activities you will get the possibility to work with several departments across the production site and will be involved in both commercial production and development projects.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Release of raw materials, intermediates and API
- Handling of deviations and change requests
- Approval of procedures and reports related to API production
- Approval of Computer Validation documentation related to systems used in API production
Your future team
The team consists of 11 employees (9 academics and 2 technician), who together are responsible for all QA-related tasks for Lundbeck’s small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in Denmark. Additionally, the department includes 4 laboratory technicians and 1 laboratory assistant, who covers the daily QC operations on site.
You will become a part of Chemical Production in Lumsås at Sjællands Odde, which will also be your primary workplace. We also actively participate in cross-organizational projects for both marketed and development products.
What you bring to the team
You are professional, self-driven and have the following personal qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent
- A quality mind-set
- Good collaboration skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in both Danish and English

Annual base salary range: 491 000 - 675 400 DKK gross
At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
