Your Position:
The Mental Health Specialist is part of a national team that is highly effective, motivated, innovative and enthusiastic to achieve sales objectives for Lundbeck Canada. The Mental Health Specialist reports to a National Sales Manager, Psychiatry.
Patient Safety: Report immediately to canadamedicalinformation@lundbeck.com any suspected adverse events or special situations related to our medicinal products as well as any product complaints or information about suspected or actual falsified medicines. Advise individuals experiencing suspected adverse events or special situations with Lundbeck products to contact their physician.
Achievement of Sales objectives (50%)
- Achieve psychiatry sales targets by implementing the business plan and ensuring the compliant and expert promotion of Lundbeck and its partners' products and services to healthcare professionals.
- Develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs, providing quality service, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competing products and scientific advances.
Business Planning (20%)
- Plan and optimize territory performance by developing and adjusting the business plan, tactical activities, field budget, and use of communication channels to achieve sales targets.
- Execute a structured, data-driven sales approach by preparing and analyzing each interaction according to the Lundbeck model, tracking KPIs, and adapting tactics to the realities of the territory.
- Actively collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, medical, training) to offer tailored solutions, maximize the potential of psychiatric products, and contribute to national and regional initiatives.
Medical Communication and Education Activities (25%)
- Deploy continuing medical education programs aligned with the needs of the customers, cycle and action plan, in collaboration with medical education teams and scientific advisors.
- Ensure compliance and ethics during training activities.
Administration and Corporate Compliance (5%)
- Ensure rigorous administrative management by keeping target customers up to date, documenting field activities in the CRM, and entering expenses on a regular basis.
- Fully comply with Lundbeck Canada's processes, legal rules, and compliance requirements in order to effectively support the company's business needs.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business administration
- A minimum of 2 year of sales experience, ideally in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in the CNS field and/or working with psychiatrists an asset
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills

Fluent in oral and written English; in Quebec, fluent in French and proficiency in English an asset
- Familiar with the use of technology (iPad, apps, CRM, etc.) including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, ect.)
- Must have a valid driving licence in Canada
