Senior Medical Advisor

Your new role
As Senior Medical Advisor, you will be a key member of the UK and IE Medical team, reporting to the Medical Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Medical You will act as a trusted scientific expert internally and externally, building strong relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) and Other Relevant Decision Makers (ORDMs), while providing high-quality medical insight to cross-functional teams.
In this role you will get the opportunity to contribute to medical strategy, deliver education and training, and act as a Final Medical Signatory. This role offers a unique balance of strategic input, stakeholder engagement and governance responsibility - giving you broad visibility and influence across the organization.
The position is remote based in the UK, with regular attendance at our Watford office and national and international travel as required.

What you bring to the team
You are a scientifically rigorous and confident medical professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You combine credibility with influence and are comfortable navigating both strategic discussions and detailed compliance reviews.
You likely bring:
- An MD or MPharm qualification
- ABPI UK Final Signatory status is essential for this role
- At least 5 years’ experience in the UK pharmaceutical industry, including Medical Affairs experience
- Strong knowledge of the ABPI /IPHA and EFPIA Code of Practice and the UK/IE healthcare environment
- Field medical experience and proven stakeholder engagement with KEEs/ORDMs
As a person, you demonstrate high emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, enjoy cross-functional collaboration and embody curiosity, adaptability and accountability in your daily work. Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally is essential.
