Copywriter at Lundbeck

Can you write razor sharp copy that explains, engages and excites, and are you passionate about writing everything from financial copy to magazine stories, then you may be our new Copywriter?

 

Clear, correct and engaging communication to our stakeholders through different media is an important focus area for us. We are looking for a new colleague to support us with this work as Copywriter in Corporate Communication and Public Affairs.

 

The position consists of two important areas of responsibilities: Financial communication in the context of corporate releases and annual reports as well as corporate communication covering position papers, magazine stories, patient portraits, website content etc.

 

We are looking for a copywriter with a native English pen and experience in writing for both digital and printed media. You know how to write copy that impacts stakeholders. You have strong writing skills and the drive to write more. You get inspired by different kinds of communication to different stakeholders on different channels – and you are curious and confident.


As our Copywriter you must be able to craft engaging content that can be disseminated to a wide range of stakeholders across our various channels. You must be able to explain even difficult content in an engaging way and ensure our stakeholders interest no matter whether they are job seekers, investors, journalists or patients etc.

This is a new position within our Reputation & Advocacy team. You will report to Tina Hjortlund, Senior Director, Head of Reputation & Advocacy. The team is part of Corporate Communication & Public Affairs which employs 12 people in total. We are responsible for areas such as Employee Communication, Media Relations, Corporate Branding, Issues Management, Advocacy, Positioning, Leadership Communication and Government Affairs. We work closely together with Executive Management and teams across the organization. As a team, we recognize hard work, but also think it is important to have an informal and fun workplace. We believe in individual responsibility and work with a high degree of self-planning.

Main responsibilities

As our new Copywriter, you will:

·          Create corporate communication assets including magazine stories, patient portraits, articles, website content, factsheets etc. 

·          Copywrite our corporate releases as a support to Investor Relations. 

·          Draft our annual report.

·          Identify new creative ways to tell our stories through our different channels.

·          Help develop and write content for disease awareness campaigns.

·          Support in keeping internal and external communication aligned. 

 

Your qualifications

As our new Copywriter, you:

·          Most likely have a degree in journalism, creative writing or similar.

·          Have native English writing skills.

·          Are experienced in all kinds of financial and corporate communication.

·          Communicate effectively through compelling, targeted messages.

·          Find content creation exciting and have a genuine interest in words and texts. 

·          Are able to navigate in a complex, global organization.

·          Work well with a wide range of colleagues and have fun at work.

·          Are able to adhere to compliance and ethical matters. 

·          Preferably have experience from another pharmaceutical company.
