Supply Chain Planner – Planning DK

Do you want to be part of a highly skilled and passionate team responsible for planning Lundbeck’s production in Denmark and France? And are you motivated by operational tasks, data-analysis, cross-functional collaboration and continuous focus on process improvement?


Supply Planning is responsible for ensuring that Lundbeck produces the right goods in the right quantities at the right time to ensure product availability for patients all over the world.


We are a department of 33 employees placed in Denmark and France. This position is placed in Valby, Denmark, in the Planning DK team currently consisting of 10 employees.


The Planning DK team’s primary responsibilities are forecasting and inventory management for all finished goods, production scheduling for Lundbeck’s finished goods production in Valby and capacity planning for Lundbeck’s production in both Valby and France. This position will cover specific responsibilities within all of these areas.


LEAN principles are a key part of the Lundbeck culture, so it is expected that everyone continuously work to improve processes within the supply chain. It is also expected that all team members act as backup for others in the team.


We are currently in the process of changing our planning paradigm across the supply chain, which will impact the entire supply organization. The Planning DK team plays a key role in implementing and developing the new processes, and in the management of stakeholders throughout the transition period.


Your qualifications:

  • You hold a bachelor or master’s degree within SCM or engineering, and/or have a relevant background within planning.
  • You like being part of daily supply chain operations and value carrying out daily and weekly tasks.
  • You are analytical, detail oriented and pragmatic.
  • You are motivated by continuously improving processes.
  • You are open minded, take initiative and are not afraid to challenge status quo.
  • You are able to communicate clearly and concisely, both in virtual and face-to-face situations
  • You are a competent user of Microsoft office (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SAP ECC, SAP BI and/or Kinaxis RapidResponse is an advantage.
  • English (written & spoken) is a requirement and Danish (written & spoken) is an advantage.
