We are currently looking for a Medical Education Coordinator to join the Lundbeck Medical Education team. This position is permanent full-time in the Montreal Head-Office. The employee will report to the Senior Manager, Medical Education.

Your Position:

The Coordinator, Medical Education is responsible for providing support for the development and the implementation of all learning programs executed by Lundbeck Canada. The Coordinator, Medical Education will be responsible to support Medical Education Managers in preparing appropriate contract documentation for the learning programs development. He/she will also support the sales teams in preparing contract documentation for learning programs implementation. This individual will report to the Senior Manager, Medical Education.


Support to Senior Manager and Medical Education Managers (20%)

  • Prepare briefing and submit agreement requests to legal for the learning programs development
  • Follow-up with legal/compliance to ensure appropriate documentation is finalized according to the specific processes in place
  • Filing the documentation for each project
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders & monthly accruals for medical education development programs
  • Other assignments per need


Support to Sales teams (80%)

  • Prepare and submit speaker agreement requests based on the information provided by Sales representatives
  • Ensure appropriate filing system for each speaker event program
  • Be the liaison between the Sales representatives and the legal/compliance department to support documentation for contract requests in case information are missing
  • Provide guidance/training to the Sales representatives on the speaker agreement process
  • Provide support during the compliance audit for speaker engagement programs


Position Qualifications:

  • College education in Administration, Office Automation, Secretarial or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-year experience as Administrative Assistant, as Medical Affairs Assistant, as Learning Program Coordinator, or equivalent position
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a medical education agency an asset
  • Bilingualism in French and English (written and oral) required
  • Office Suite proficiency required, especially in Excel
  • Collaborative, customer focused and proactive individual with a proven ability to drive results under little supervision
  • Rigor and strong organizational skills with an ability to keep track of priorities while multitasking
