Purpose of the role:

 

The main purpose of the role is to complete payments and control expenses by processing invoices and travel expenses, and assuring Payment is On Time and in correct amount.
 
Main responsibilities and tasks:

 

  • Scans and processes PO and NPO invoices in workflow
  • Codes all NPO transactions
  • Reconciles Travel Expenses
  • Handles vendor queries via email and phone
  • Maintains vendors accounts, reconciles vendors' statements and resolves debt balances
  • Performs GRIR clearing
  • Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports
  • Writes Work Instructions and updates any knowledge management files
  • Provides basic training to Business on systems and process
  • Initiates improvements, participates and leads improvement projects
  • Executes assigned controls
  • Guides new colleagues in the on-boarding process

 
Qualifications:

 

  • 2 years of experience in accounting and solid knowledge of Accounts Payable and/or Travel Expenses
  • Higher university degree
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system (VIM)
  • Fluent English is a must (min. C1)
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player
  • Can-do attitude towards challenges and problems
  • Being able to work to tight deadlines and with switching priorities
  • Proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working
  • Experience in transition will be an asset
