Purpose of the role:

We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Specialist acting as an independent Finance Operations generalist ensuring the delivery of all finance operations processes in scope. The individual will connect, communicate and interact with employees and managers in EU regarding queries related to Finance. He/she will execute on activities and tasks identified as part of the BSC scope (predominantly operational and administrative activities) and serve as lead specialist towards the team, projects and external parties.

 

Your job and key responsibilities:
As Senior Finance Specialist in Lundbeck GBS Kraków you will:

  • Process PO and NPO invoices in workflow and reconcile travel expenses
  • Analyse KPIs, provide synthetic summary of issues
  • Lead and participate in improvement projects and coordinate daily workload distribution
  • Reply to escalations and solve more complex cases
  • Perform internal controls according to control framework
  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports
  • Build and maintain good relationships with the business
  • Teach, coach and train Junior Specialists and Specialists
  • Engage team in daily meetings, improvement ideas regarding process and team work

Qualifications:
Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in accounts payable and/or travel expenses
  • At least 2 years of experience in SAP
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Can-do attitude towards challenges and problems
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and comprehensive knowledge of data analysis and communications tools, specifically Excel and Power Point
  • Being able to work to tight deadlines and with switching priorities
  • Proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working
  • Languages: English as a must, German as an asset
