Capability Owner

 

We are seeking a digitally savvy Digital Capability & Martech Manager to enforce the advancement of our global digital customer engagement ecosystem and operating model. Positioned at the crossroads of business and IT, this role is pivotal in transforming strategic objectives into scalable digital capabilities, robust governance frameworks, and actionable platform roadmaps. Your new role

 

Leveraging your expertise in understanding customer needs, business requirements, and technology, you will play a key role in enabling the Digital Capabilities team to lead, enhance, and expand our digital ecosystem.

 

Drive the Capability

  • Drive your capability strategy and evolve the capability roadmap in alignment with the overall digital capability roadmap and ecosystem.
  • Translate commercial and medical engagement strategies into clear, structured business requirements for digital capabilities.
  • Monitor trends within your capability and drive thought leadership in your field.  
  • Drive requirement workshops and ensure alignment across global functions.
  • Establish standardized processes, roles, and governance models.
  • Identify capability gaps and lead enablement initiatives across markets.
  • Partner with IT on solution design.

 

Driving Martech Capability Evolutions

Manage business-facing governance and capability development of one of the following areas:

  • Campaign orchestration, personalization, lifecycle automation.
  • Privacy-first analytics, performance tracking, and data activation.
  • Modular content architecture and omnichannel module reuse.
  • Webtracking Framework.
  • Customer experience.
  • CIAM.
  • Customer journey automation.

 

Additionally ensuring that platform capabilities are:

  • Scalable and compliant within pharma regulatory environments.
  • Configured to enable data-driven engagement.
  • Optimized for global-to-local execution models.

 

 Global Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with global brand teams, regional leads, medical, legal, compliance, data, and IT.
  • Facilitate decision-making in a matrix organization.
  • Align global standards with local market needs.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in business language.

 

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all digital initiatives comply with pharma regulations, consent frameworks, and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR).
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance to embed governance into ways of working.
  • Support documentation and audit readiness for digital platforms.

 

 

Your future team

 

You will be part of the Digital Capabilities Team, a key component of the Global Customer Xperience (GCX) department, based in Valby, Copenhagen.

 

The Digital Capabilities Team plays a key role in driving Lundbeck’s ability to deliver unique customer experiences. The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

What you bring to the team

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and Martech within pharma or other regulated industries.
  • Proven experience working between business and IT functions.
  • Proven experience in one or multiple of the following technologies:
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar Marketing Automation Platforms.
    • Privacy-first analytics solutions such as Piwik PRO or similar.
    • Enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations with multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with managing GDPR compliant platforms and marketing consent
  • Facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Structured, analytical mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
  • Business-level English is a must.
