Senior Business Manager to EVP Europe & International Operations

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the EVP and the Europe & International Operations Leadership Team, supporting the execution of strategic priorities, driving key projects, and ensuring strong coordination across HQ, regions and affiliates.

Your new role
In this position, you will act as a trusted partner to the EVP EIO and the EIO leadership team and play a key role in supporting the business agenda across the organization.
You will help drive strategic and operational priorities, prepare high-quality materials for senior stakeholders, and ensure effective planning, coordination, and follow-up on key initiatives. The role requires a strong ability to manage complex projects, connect people and priorities, and translate strategic direction into clear actions.
You will work closely with the EVP, the Europe & International Operations Leadership Team, regional leadership, key affiliates, and relevant functions across Lundbeck.
About Europe & International Operations (EIO)
EIO represents 43% of Lundbeck’s total revenue and is comprised of 3 regions operating across 21 Lundbeck-owned affiliates and 27 partner markets. Our operating model ranges across 11 Focus Markets, 7 smaller affiliates with central regional support and 4 commercial partnerships across 51 markets.
As Senior Business Manager, your main responsibilities are:
- Act as a trusted sparring partner and daily support to the EVP Europe & International Operations
- Support the EVP and Leadership Team in driving strategic priorities, business planning, and key organizational initiatives
- Prepare high-quality material for Executive Management, Board of Directors, various committees, leadership meetings, presentations, communications, and decision-making processes
- Lead, coordinate, and follow up on strategic and tactical projects across Europe & International Operations
- Ensure strong project management discipline, including clear timelines, milestones, stakeholder alignment, and follow-up on actions
- Support leadership meetings, including agenda setting, preparation of materials, follow-up, and coordination of key decisions
- Drive day-to-day activities in close collaboration with the EVP, the Leadership Team, and the PA to the EVP
- Support cross-functional collaboration and ensure effective coordination across regions, markets, and functions
- Provide analytical support and business insights to help drive informed decision-making
- Take an active role in improving ways of working, governance, and execution across Europe & International Operations
Your future team
You will work directly with the EVP Europe & International Operations and be closely connected to the Europe & International Operations Leadership Team.
This role offers broad exposure across Lundbeck and the opportunity to work on important strategic and operational priorities in a dynamic international environment. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders, regional teams, key markets, and colleagues across functions to support strong execution and value creation.
The position is based in Valby, Denmark.
What you bring to the team
- Solid project management experience, with the ability to drive complex initiatives from planning to execution
- Several years of experience as a trusted advisor to senior management, in a business manager role, project leadership role, or as a consultant
- Strong strategic reasoning and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, high-quality material for senior stakeholders
- A proactive and structured approach, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A university degree in business, life science, or another relevant field
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across organizational levels, functions, and geographies
- Experience working with senior leadership teams and supporting executive-level decision-making processes
- Self-driven and highly independent
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and an open mindset, with willingness to work on both practical tasks and strategic initiatives
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Enthusiasm for Lundbeck and for contributing to our business and patient-focused purpose

Annual Base Salary Range: 786 000 - 1 081 300 DKK gross
At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
