Team Manager, Procure to Pay - Accounts Payable Query

We are looking for an inspiring and hands-on Team Manager to lead our Accounts Payable Query team at Lundbeck GBS Krakow.

In this role, you will combine people leadership with responsibility for high-quality service delivery, stakeholder experience and continuous improvement. You will lead a team supporting suppliers and internal stakeholders with Accounts Payable-related questions, exceptions and escalations, while working closely with other Procure to Pay teams to identify root causes and improve the underlying processes.

As Team Manager, you will lead the Accounts Payable Query team, responsible for supporting suppliers and internal stakeholders in resolving Accounts Payable-related questions, exceptions and escalations.

You will be accountable for the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the services delivered by your team and will use KPIs, stakeholder feedback and root-cause analysis to continuously improve performance.

A key part of your role will be to look beyond resolving individual queries. You will work closely with Accounts Payable Processing, Procurement, Finance and other stakeholders to understand recurring issues, identify their underlying causes and help improve the processes that generate them.

This role gives you the opportunity to combine people leadership, operational management and process improvement, while having a visible impact on the experience of our suppliers, internal stakeholders and the wider Procure to Pay organization.

Your future team

You will join Procurement & Finance Operations at Lundbeck GBS Krakow and lead a team of approximately 10–16 colleagues.

The Accounts Payable Query team acts as an important point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders and works closely with other Procure to Pay teams, Finance, Procurement and global stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure a high-quality service.

The team takes pride in supporting its customers, solving problems and continuously improving the way we work.

As their manager, you will create an environment where people feel ownership for their work, collaborate across boundaries and continuously develop their capabilities.

What you bring to the team

We are looking for someone who combines strong people leadership with a good understanding of Accounts Payable and a customer-oriented approach to service delivery.

You bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Operational Procurement or a related finance operations function, with a broad understanding of Accounts Payable and Procure to Pay processes and best practices.

• Experience in team management is an asset, together with experience in SAP FI and MM modules. A university degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent field is expected.
• English at C1 level; another European language is welcome. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, including the ability to present key data to management and tailor the message to the audience.
• Strong decision-making, business partnering, negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders who have different priorities and objectives and to work effectively in multinational and virtual teams.

You take full ownership of your responsibilities and are comfortable working with limited guidance, ambiguity and changing priorities.

You are curious about why problems occur, not only how to resolve them. You challenge the status quo, look for patterns behind recurring issues and actively seek opportunities to simplify and improve processes.

You are adaptable, practical and collaborative in the way you approach people and challenges, and you can remain effective when working under pressure or dealing with setbacks.

Annual base salary range: 174 100 - 239 470 PLN GROSS

At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. The final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies and level of proficiency, as well as internal pay equity.
